2006-03-02 Still existing
Quick update:
Still in France, loving every minute of it, absurdly happy, not really wanting to return to the US. Got a French boyfriend who doesn't speak any English, made drastic improvement in my French, don't have any friends who speak English, thus mine is getting fucked. Still next-to-no 'net access, still unreliable electricity, phone, and hot water. Though the electricity's gotten better. Spent a brief vacation in the US where I did an insane amount of wandering around Iowa, had 25 hours of travel including airports and planes between Pau and Kansas City, only 17 on the way back (which was heaven in comparison).
Also, I'm ridiculously happy here.
