2004-07-07 Eyelashes!
My lab just filled up with giggly Japanese girls.
Well, "filled up" as in 4. Whatever. I had to explain how to login to one of them.
4th of July weekend was fun. I spent it with my family. We blew things up and then watched the fireworks (so, watched the city blow stuff up). Saw Farenheit 9/11 with my little sister, and I can honestly say I've never cried so much at a movie before. I've cried at movies every now and again, a teardrop here and there, but... Christ almighty. So in that sense, yeah, it was a very good movie -- anything that can evoke that sort of reaction is good.
We played Dance Dance Revolution afterwards. It seemed obscene, but then again, everything else did, too.
Had to get my paycheck straightened out today. I haven't gotten paid yet. Talked to my sub-supervisor, who told me that they hadn't "appointed you for the summer." Meaning, they hired me, but forgot to actually make me an employee. FUCK. My supervisor's a fucking flake. Christ. But it's all straightened out now. Thank god.
Life has been pretty uninteresting other than that. Just hanging out and staring at my hands, basically.
