I forgot my sweatshirt, so I'm freezing my ass off in the lab right now.
P.S. Setting the lab temperature at 65 is a great idea for the computers, but that's about all. Fuck.
In other news, I signed the lease on my soon-to-be apartment. Excitement all around. I'll get to have a COUCH. Because I'll have a living room. Yay! And I won't have to sleep on a fucking futon or anything, I'll have a real mattress. Because I'll have a real bedroom. Yay!
I'm finally excited about the place. I think that happened sometime after I fully realized that having a living room is awesome to the nth degree.
My new sandals rock hardcore stylee, too, even though I have a few sore spots on my feet from breaking them in. Pouty face. I'm giggly and excited, though.
A friend of mine (Connie) is kind of a dumb bitch sometimes. I love her to death, but she can't quite seem to understand why her landlord isn't letting her renew her lease. Maybe because she's 3 months behind on rent.
I just had to listen to her bitch about having to look for a new place today because of all of this. She has a hard time not bitching about anything and everything. Loudly. Ah, well, we all have our quirks.
It's seriously freaking cold in here. Would anybody be upset if I started a small campfire? Just big enough to roast marshmallows. I'm not seeing a sprinkler system anywhere, it should be ok... but of course, having water sprinklers in a computer lab is a Bad Idea.
I keep twisting my hair like I did when I had dreads. I gotta stop that.
