2004-03-30 Rainbows in the architecture
Yesterday was an uber-amazing day, and today was pretty mediocre. I'm pretty tired because I stayed up way too late last night (hassled Tim at work), and it was chilly, and I started getting frustrated with The Great Roommate Hunt. I've figured out that I can't necessarily trust most of my friends to either not skip town entirely in the middle of the year, or to be consistent with paying rent. Crap©ú. Oh well. Yesterday was still amazing.
I hung out with the crazy travelling free kitchen kids and had an absolutely amazing time. There was alot of weird hair bead trading and things. Alot of weird automatic bonding with dreadlocks. It was great. We played in their schoolbus and wandered around town and they tried trading big pretty crystals for things. And it mostly worked. They invited me to go and travel and live on the bus with them. Which would be all sorts of amazing and interesting, so in a way it's too bad that I can't (school, work, etc.). At the same time, living on a schoolbus with 7 or 8 other kids and not showering for months at a time and never having any money... ya know... yeah. It'd be interesting, but a little harsh.
Somebody today told me to stop playing with my hair, and I couldn't figure out why. Because it'll knot up? Hehe. But I did have to reshape and wrap some of my dreads today. So my hair looks like an even bigger amusement park. It's so wonderful.
So tired.
So much homework.
