Happy President's Day!
I've been a giggly fucking schoolgirl, I'll tell you what (unrelated to today's holiday). So far, Industrial Tim has proved to be fucking amazing. Maybe just because I don't know him well enough yet. Spent alotalot of time with him this weekend. It was wonderful. We spent most of Saturday together. Had dinner. Had a wonderful time. Then he went to work and I went to see my friends' show at the Green Room (Heart of Gold band. They're so cute). I make fun of them for playing Grateful Dead covers (not to their faces, though...), but they're good at what they do. And that's what's important.
I had a great time at the show. Got alot of compliments on my hair (I made it look super-pretty) and my outfit (completely pink, in honor of V-Day. Yes, Victory Day). Saw most of my dreadhead friends, including Greg the Flakey Landscaper. And, yeah, I still have a soft spot for the kid. That's about all I can say for him now. The aftershow parties were somewhat lacking -- the one up at Craw's was going to be half-assed, since everybody wanted to go to bed, and then there was another at Cooper's, but I didn't want to deal with that kid hitting on me all night. So I just went home and went to sleep. And was woken up by... Tim! He'd just gotten off of work (at 4am, poor bastard). So I got dressed and hung out with him for awhile. Wound up sleeping in too late yesterday and had a hard time getting my homework done. But it wound up not mattering so much because I skipped most of my classes because I felt/feel like shit. I hate skipping classes. I'm almost over this cold, but today... well, today was just icky and bad. I felt better Friday-Sunday than I did today. So I'll be emailing some of my homework to my teachers and hoping they'll accept it and forgive me.
I've been walking around with a big, stupid grin on my face all day. This isn't atypical. But I thought it was worth mentioning.
